Our journey began with a visit to the iconic Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), a breathtaking façade with intricate latticework designed to allow royal women to observe street life without being seen. Standing before its ornate facade, it’s hard not to marvel at the craftsmanship that has stood the test of time.

Afternoon
:
We headed to City Palacean opulent complex
that offers a peek into the royal life of yesteryears. The palace, with its stunning courtyards, gardens, and museums, is a testament to the grandeur of the Rajput era. The Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal are particularly noteworthy for their impressive architecture and exquisite artifacts.

Evening: Tconclude...🤔

the day, we explored the bustling Johari Bazaar and Bapu Bazaar. The markets are a vibrant explosion of colors, with stalls selling everything from traditional Rajasthani jewelry and textiles to spices and sweets.

The street food here is a culinary adventure in itself. We sampled local delights such as pani puri and samosas, which were as flavorful as they were satisfying.

After such delicious snacks we encountered some group of people doing kirtan at a place built for same just immediately outside their village/locality. It was so melodious that we couldn't stop ourselves and it felt like it was pulling us towards itself. We joined and enjoyed the kirtan, it was a energetic blissful Kirtan and most memorable experience.

Day 2: Majestic Forts and Palaces

Morning: We set out to explore Amber Fort, a majestic hilltop fortress that commands panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The fort’s blend of Hindu and Mughal architecture, with its intricately decorated rooms and expansive courtyards, left us awestruck. The Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace) was a particular highlight, where every surface is adorned with intricate mirror work.

Afternoon: After a delightful lunch of dal baati churma—a traditional Rajasthani dish—we visited Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory built in the 18th century. The observatory is home to the world’s largest stone sundial and various other instruments used for tracking celestial bodies. It’s a fascinating glimpse into the scientific advancements of the past.

Evening: We took a serene boat ride at Maota Lake near Amber Fort. The tranquil waters and the evening sky painted a perfect backdrop for a relaxing end to an eventful day. The illuminated fort on the hill made for a picture-perfect sight.
